My name is Kevin Wright and I’ve been working in the manufacturing industry for over 30 years. I’m originally from Waterford but have recently settled down to the beautiful north west of Ireland, in Donegal.

I started my career just out of school working on the shop floor , learning from those around me and developing my expertise across a variety of different areas including powder manufacturing, tablet compression and packaging. Over time I moved into various levels of supervision and management before moving in 2010 with my family to New Jersey in the USA, taking on the position as site leader responsible for 24/7 production with 200 people.

I spent the next 10 years in various site leader roles in Sligo, Nebraska and Paris responsible for medium to large scale complex business models and situations, including up to 1200 people. What I enjoyed most during these years, was engaging with people across the organisations. I enjoyed connecting with people at the heart of everything, those on the shop floor, understanding their context and what support and help they needed to be successful and from there working with others all all levels to ensure we improved every day, delivering our products to those who needed it most, our consumers and patients.

I’ve since returned to Ireland and now I want to bring my knowledge and experience and put it to good use by helping manufacturing businesses, particularly those in the North West of Ireland.
